EEMAC Policy Advisory Committee (EPAC)
EFC Members who are Manufacturers can apply to participate in a Product Section. Within Electro-Federation Canada there are multiple Product Sections that represent various market segments of the Electrical Industry. Product Sections primarily focus on technical, codes & standards, regulatory and government matters that are of common interest to Section Members. Product Sections are self-governing and in general operate autonomously. Similarly there are Distribution Sections that compliment Product Sections that have interest in various topics related to the distribution of products.
The EMMAC Policy Advisory Committee (EPAC) is composed of the Chairs, Co-Chairs and Vice-Chairs of each respective Product Section and other members as appropriate. In certain circumstances matters come before EPAC that are of common interest to more than one, or all Product Sections. EPAC meets to discuss such matters; provide guidance to the Sections; and develop overarching policy. EPAC is intended to provide co-ordination and consistency among Product Sections. And as required, EPAC presents a unified position to an external party that represents the “Voice” of the Electrical Industry.
