The Canadian Appliance Manufacturers Association (CAMA) is a national organization that provides services to facilitate members’ competitiveness in the Canadian market through the following:
- Industry representation on codes and standards
- Advocacy on industry-related issues with all levels of government
- Statistical market research programs
- Information seminars
- Networking opportunities
- Regular updates on current and emerging issues, industry news and association activities
CAMA members participate in the:
Major Appliance Division - manufacturers and marketers of major appliances (white goods) – refrigerators, clothes washers, electric and gas dryers, electric and gas rages, cook tops, dishwashers and microwave ovens.
Portable Appliance Division - manufacturers and marketers of portable appliances (small appliances) – blenders, toasters, irons, coffee makers, food processors, kettles, blenders, etc.
Floor Care Division - manufacturers and marketers of floor care appliances (vacuums) – full-size household vacuum cleaners, central vacuum systems, wet/dry vacuums and specialty machines.
