The Electrical Safety Foundation International (ESFI),, is a non-profit organization dedicated exclusively to promoting electrical safety.  Electro-Federation Canada (EFC), CAMA’s parent association, has joined with other leading industry organizations to form ESFi Canada to educate Canadians and promote electrical safety awareness.  ESFI proudly sponsors National Electrical Safety Month each May, and engages in public education campaigns throughout the year to prevent electrical fires, injuries, and fatalities.  ESFi provides information on electrical safety in your home, including appliance safety in the kitchen (range, refrigerator, dishwasher, etc.), basement (laundry, furnace, hot water heater, etc.), and other rooms in the home.  Visit ESFi’s virtual home for information and tips on electrical safety in the home.
