Electro-Federation Canada is a proud supporter of Hungry for Change, and have named Canadian Feed
the Children, their charity of choice for the Canadian Electrical Industry in 2011. Since 2008, the Canadian
Electrical Industry has been fighting hunger and feeding kids. Last year, Hungry for Change achieved a remarkable goal of $305,000, serving up more than 1,220,000 meals to hungry kids, bringing the three-year meal total to over 3,000,000 meals. Driven by volunteers from Canada’s Electrical Industry, Hungry for Change is an ongoing campaign that provides fun opportunities to get together with friends, while raising funds for vulnerable children. Through support, life-saving nutrition for children in Canada, Bolivia, Ethiopia, Ghana, Haiti, Sierra Leone and Uganda. This energized initiative was prompted by the global rising costs of food, fuel and other necessities. Determined to share their success with those less fortunate, leaders from the Canadian Electrical Industry have come together to make a difference. To take part, you can host, attend or donate. The Daily Bread Food Bank
Electro-Federation Canada supports the Daily Bread Food Bank. Last year alone at the EFC Ontario Christmas Reception, EFC and its members helped raise over $5,300 for this special cause. For more information on the Daily Bread Food Bank, please visit
