The Supply & Distribution (S&D) Council, a division of Electro-Federation Canada (EFC), brings together the manufacturers, distributors and manufacturers' representatives of electrical equipment in Canada. The mission of the council is to provide value to our members by enhancing the electrical distribution channel as the Channel of Choice. We focus on managing channel efficiency and enhancing channel value to our customers.
S&D focuses on the economic well-being of the industry through:
- improving the expertise of those working in the channel to increase productivity;
- building best practices to reduce costs;
- assisting the industry in implementing electronic commerce; and
- developing a strong industry network and close working relations between suppliers and distributors.
As the voice for the electrical distributors in Canada, S&D provides distributor members with insight into industry trends, both nationally and across North America. For manufacturers and manufacturers' representatives, the council provides a structured environment for building strong relationships with distribution partners, regionally and nationally.
