Cultivating & Planting

Fall is here and gardening experts advise this is a great time for cultivating and planting. This results in greener lawns, healthier plants and sets a great foundation for next spring.

This also pertains to our industry.  We have invested in Canadian students and announcing in October, 45 recipients receiving over $100,000 in funding through the EFC Foundation. We are cultivating and preparing youth to enter our sector and become the next industry leaders.

At EFC, we need to encourage members to participate as leaders in areas such as codes & standards and within our Product Section meetings so we are continuing to enhance these areas as we approach 2013.

Our September 21st issue of InfoElectro also focuses on great learning events such as the Economic Forecast, e-tech forum and many Regional Events.  Please check out the Industry Career section of our website with many job postings. The EFC LinkedIn Group also has many postings from our members.

From preparing students, providing education opportunities for our industry and promoting career growth, I am excited to see the EFC momentum as we continue to cultivate and plant within our industry.
