Electro-Federation Canada (EFC) and its members are proud to support Canadian university and college students. Now entering its 20th year, this program will assist the next generation workforce providing $120,000 across 52 scholarships. Since inception the program has funded Canadian university and college students’ education with over one million dollars.
The electrical and electronics industries offer great jobs, competitive salaries and benefits plus aggressive careers paths in a sector with cutting-edge innovation. Canadian university and college students are shown the electrical industry as a viable career choice in Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Management, Operations, Information Technology and Human Resources.
“The Canadian electrical industry is competing with other innovative industries for the interest of talented, young individuals. We need to invest in Canadian talent to foster their pursuit of careers in the electrical engineering and electronics industries,” said Joris Myny, Chair 2015 EFC Scholarship Program and Senior VP, Siemens Canada Ltd.
