Channel Recruitment Program

The Supply & Distribution Council of Electro-Federation Canada is pleased to announce the launch of our "Make A Difference, Make it Yours" channel recruitment program. Click here to find out more about this program.

In late 2003, during the First Canadian Electrical Industry Summit, our members identified the need to address recruitment issues within the industry. As we forecast a shortage in the labour pool, competition for quality graduates from colleges and universities will heighten. It was recommended that S&D invest in raising the awareness of the electrical industry among graduates as a means of attracting the best and brightest candidates to member companies.

S&D is pleased to address this critical issue and has developed a program which positions the electrical industry as a powerful, dynamic and stable industry for college and university graduates. The main components of the program are as follows:

College and University Program

A supply of the "Make A Difference, Make it Yours" binders, brochures and CDs are being distributed to career centres within colleges and universities across the country. All enquiries will be directed to our web site www.electrofed.com where candidates would further their research on job opportunities and member companies.

Student Connection area of www.electrofed.com

The "Student Connection" section of the web will allow students access to the following information: English and French versions of the "Make A Difference, Make it Yours" video, additional information on the industry and overall career opportunities, and profiles of member companies with highlights on those companies with current job postings.

Complimentary Recruitment Tools

To complement your corporate package, a supply of the "Make A Difference, Make it Yours" binders, brochures and CDs is currently being sent to S&D members' HR department.
