Now in its 13th year, the EFC Foundation Scholarship Program connects thebrightest Canadian students with exciting careers in the Electrical, Electronicsand Telecommunications industries. This year, scholarships valuing over $50,000 are available to post-secondary students in Canada for scholastic achievement and commitment to community service.
Since this program’s inception in 1995, EFC, corporate sponsors and program partners have invested $500,000 in scholarships to students across Canada in engineering, computer science, business administration and electrical apprenticeship programs.
Are You Eligible?
All applicants must be Canadian citizens who have completed at least their first year of study; have maintained a minimum 70% average; be registered in a full-time, eligible post-secondary degree or diploma program at a recognized Canadian education institution. For EFC scholarships, preference will be given to those applicants who are related to anyone employed with an EFC member company. Preference will also be given to candidates pursuing post-secondary education in a discipline which targets a career in the Electrical industry, such as Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technologist, Electrical Technician, Certified Electrical Technologist, Industrial Distribution, and Business Administration.
