A dynamic group of speakers will inspire and arm leaders with change management strategies and execution, risk management and forecasting, and diversity and inclusion practices. Concurrent learning tracks address leadership, professional development and market outlooks,
and include topics such as: strategic account management, virtual sales prospecting, Canada’s construction outlook, health and mental wellness, Canadian Electrical code updates, eCommerce and supply chain resiliency.

Change is all around us…and with change, comes new opportunities!
This mindset was the catalyst for this year’s conference – and I’m excited to share the new experiences that EFC’s National Advisory Council has lined up to deliver more value, more reach and more insights to help your business emerge stronger ‘on the other side’ of this pandemic.
We’ve chosen the theme, ‘Beyond the Horizon’, to provide a forward-looking approach that addresses the changes Covid-19 has cast on our businesses, markets, customers, supply chains and employees. We understand how challenging this past year has been and the growing constraints on your time and business. To help support your organization during this time, we’ve reduced the cost of attendance and are offering discounted group rates, in addition to providing more topic variety and schedule flexibility. This year’s virtual conference is designed to engage a wider cross-section of members and will include keynotes and concurrent tracks so participants can manage their schedules and tune into topics that matter most to them.
Members will have the opportunity to select from a range of topic interests such as: change management, health and mental wellness, post-Covid HR policies, risk management and financial forecasting, virtual sales prospecting, strategic account management, diversity and inclusion, eCommerce and supply chain resiliency…and so many other trending topics – all offered online within a flexible agenda to accommodate schedules and interests.
It will take a village to innovate and lead the path forward. This year’s conference is set to bring ‘our village’ of members together on a common virtual platform so we can learn, adapt and succeed in the ‘next normal’.

EFC will be hosting this year’s industry conference virtually in September to ensure the safety of all members and to provide coast-to-coast access for employees in all verticals. This year’s conference will offer a new experience that differs from what you may have been accustomed to in past years. We see this as an opportunity to re-invent and strengthen your conference experience so you can get even more out of your participation!
The conference theme, “Beyond the Horizon”, is a forward-looking approach to help your business emerge stronger on the other side of this pandemic. The conference program will offer thought-leadership and strategies on how to rise from the effects Covid-19 has had on our markets, customers, supply chains and employees so we can move ‘beyond the horizon’.
This year’s conference program will offer flexibility so you can manage your time and online presence. The program will feature:
- keynote speakers on timely topics, including post-pandemic leadership strategies, risk management and financial forecasting, diversity and inclusion strategies
- EFC’s new research: an overview of new opportunities our industry can leverage in the aftermath of the pandemic: markets, customer expectations, supply chains, and employee requirements
- concurrent break-out sessions on topics such as mental wellness, construction outlook, sales workshop, cybersecurity, HR policies for the return to work, Canadian electrical code updates…and so many more!
- all members will have an opportunity to host Head Office meetings with partners during the conference program

Electro Lounge Meetings
EFC is pleased to offer increased and extended B2B meeting space. These meetings are available for smaller manufacturers, distributors and reps to meet in a casual informal setting. These meeting areas are complimentary and are suited for approx. 2-4 people only. These meeting areas are in an open ballroom with several seating areas for you to conduct informal meetings.

Head Office Meetings
EFC’s Head Office Program provides members with an opportunity to host private meetings with suppliers and customers during the conference. EFC manufacturer, distributor and rep members are all eligible to reserve a meeting room, based on availability.
