EFC’s Quebec Region Hosts Successful 24th Edition of Regional Golf Tournament

On August 11, EFC held the 24th edition of the Quebec regional golf tournament at Elm Ridge Golf course in Ile Bizard, QC.
There were 148 golfers in attendance who managed to deal with the extreme heat while enjoying the on course activities, eating fresh pizza, having ice coffees, and a few beverages. The group generously raised $2,145 for Habitat for Humanity and enjoyed hearing Alex Leblanc, Desdowd, award the Personality of the year award to his father, Andre Leblanc. Andre gave a heart warming and humourous speech to all those who attended the cocktail reception.

Congratulations to the winning team on the day, with the lowest score of -14 (Team 6A, Sebastien Durocher, Andre Leblanc, Alex Leblanc and Martin Piette). Congratulations also go out to the winners of the various contest holes on course.
