Ontario Region Hosts Electrification Tour at Humber River Hospital
On March 5th, close to 40 members attended the 2 hour hospital tour North America’s first digital hospital, Humber River Hospital in Toronto. Members were able to tour specific parts of the 1.8 million square feet of hospital space which included:
- Digital Pharmacy
- Electrical Room
- Central Dispatch System
- New Age patient room
- Hospital infrastructure
- Automated Guided Vehicles
The tour was informative and beneficial to our members. It also drew in many different member types to learn about the behind the scenes components that run a health care facility of this magnitude. Ontario Region Chair, Zack Cvitak, was pleased with the interest level of the tour and would like to thank all the members who participated.
