About

Electro-Federation Canada (EFC) is a national, not-for-profit industry association.

Together, its four councils represent over 330 member companies that manufacture, distribute and service electrical and electronics products in Canada. Products manufactured, distributed and serviced by members include household appliances, lighting, consumer electronics, communications and electronic equipment, cabling, industrial equipment, and many others.

EFC members contribute over $50B to the Canadian economy and employing more than 130,000 workers in more than 1,400 facilities across the country. EFC provides a powerful nucleus around which the Canadian electrical, consumer electronics, appliance and telecommunications  markets gain competitiveness in the global market through representation on issues and opportunities impacting electro-technical businesses.

EFC Councils

Canadian Appliance Manufacturers Association (CAMA)
Comprises manufacturers and marketers of major, portable, and floor care household appliances.

 

Consumers Electronics Marketers of Canada (CEMC)
Comprises companies that produce and/or distribute consumer electronic and telecommunications products in Canada.

 

Electrical Council (EC)
Represents companies that manufacture, distribute and sell a wide range of electrical products in Canada.

 

Installation, Maintenance and Repair Sector Council and Trade Association (IMR)
Represents member companies operating within the residential appliance and electronic service industry.
