Young Professionals Unite Across the Country
Since its launch a decade ago, EFC’s Young Professionals Network (YPN) has established a strong foundation for sustained growth, empowering national and regional committees to deliver meaningful initiatives that engage emerging leaders and attract new members to the network.
Throughout the year, YPN members participate in a wide range of national and regional programs and are becoming increasingly involved in EFC committees and networks. Most recently, the National YPN Committee hosted a Maritime-themed networking reception aboard the Harbour Queen during EFC’s National Conference in Halifax, providing members with a unique opportunity to connect and build relationships. The committee is also planning a special member activity at EFC’s upcoming Federation Cup Golf Tournament on August 19.
One of the network’s signature annual events is National YPN Day, a coast-to-coast celebration held each June that recognizes the creativity, determination, and leadership of young professionals across Canada while advancing YPN’s strategic pillars of GIVE and GATHER.
This year also marked an exciting milestone with the launch of the first-ever YPN Prairies event. The networking and information session brought together young professionals from across the region and laid the groundwork for future growth in Saskatchewan.
As we continue to expand YPN’s presence in the Prairies, we are seeking volunteers to serve on our newly formed Saskatchewan YPN committee. Committee members will play an important role in planning, promoting, and organizing future events and campaigns throughout the region.
