EFC Federation Cup Golf Committee Hosts Post-tournament Meeting

On October 26th, EFC Federation Cup golf committee members gathered to review the survey results from the latest golf tournament at Deer Creek in August, as well as commence planning for EFC’s 2024 tournament.

The EFC Federation Cup yielded its highest attendance record in history with 329 golfers, over 5 nines at Deer Creek Golf Course. Also, we launched our first Performance Academy for new and junior golfers, which brought in another 23 golfers, mostly new to the sport and to an EFC Event.

EFC Golf Team Lead, Nathalie Lajoie, congratulated the entire committee who have worked extremely hard over the past year in recruiting more than $100k in golf sponsorships, as well as over $11,000 for a Silent Auction, which benefitted the EFC Scholarship program in awarding 11, $1000 scholarships to well-deserving students in the pursuit of future employment opportunities in the industry. This amount doubles last year’s silent auction fund of $5100. The overall event scored 4.6 out of 5, as well as a Net Promoter Score (NPS of 72) which is excellent.

New additions this year included:

  • A swag bag station, including EFC-branded golf towels
  • Beaver Tails
  • Fiat Latte
  • Two-year lease Hole in One Mustang Mach E, prize
  • Oyster station and so much more

EFC Federation Cup Golf Chair, Andrew Fitzpatrick, Graybar Canada, thanked this year’s golf committee for organizing the largest EFC golf event on record.

“We are all very thankful for the generous support of our sponsors who continue to make this event possible,” he says.

“The survey feedback from participants has been overwhelmingly positive and has also allowed us to look for ways to improve in 2024.”

Thank you to the generosity of our members who continually support this national tournament every year! We certainly could not have done this premier tournament without them.
