The opening up of the economy is now in process and the bounce back over the summer has been stronger than expected both in Canada, the United States and Europe. But, the road back to full recovery will take time as the easy part of the opening up process has been completed and countries now face the prospect of holding off a second wave of the virus and avoiding widespread lockdowns. Until there is a vaccine or more robust COVID-19 treatments, uncertainty will continue and there will be need for both fiscal and monetary support. Maureen Farrow, President of Economap, will discuss the outlook for 2021 in terms of growth prospects, sectors, regions, interest rates, price environment and government support/debt. For all businesses this will be a challenging year ahead. Click here to register for part two of the Economic Forecast Series, complimentary for EFC members.
