Rory Cantwell
CEO, SWEB Development LP

Rory Cantwell, CEO of SWEB Development LP, has become a leader in the energy transition by prioritizing community collaboration and First Nation integration within utility scale wind and solar project design. With over 15 years of experience, Rory has established himself as a renewable energy pioneer in Atlantic Canada and the US northeast.

Rory’s education includes a Master of Science Degree in Renewable Resources from McGill University, a Bachelor of Science Degree from Dalhousie University, and the University of Toronto’s Rotman Executive Leadership Program. He is also a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors, and has earned his ICD.D designation.

When Rory is not growing the renewable energy industry, he enjoys family time, sports, running marathons, DIY projects, and brewing craft ales.

Naryn Davar
Director of Business Development, Partner, Passive Design Solutions

Naryn is a 2013 M.Arch graduate of Dalhousie University where he has since repeatedly worked as a sessional instructor. He joined the Passive Design Solutions team in 2016, bringing together his core interests in industry-led environmentalism and equity and affordability in housing. In 2019 Naryn moved from providing design services, to leading business development for the firm.

Andrew Pottier
Senior Codes and Regulatory Services Representative, UL Solutions

Andrew Pottier has been involved in the electrical industry for more than 35 years, during which time he has excelled in various roles.

He is a voting member of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part 1; Chair of Sections 10, 78 and 84; and a voting member of Sections 12, 32, 42, and 64.

He is also an associate member of the Canadian Advisory Council on Electrical Safety (CACES), which comprises accredited organizations, regulatory authorities and other industry stakeholders from across Canada.
