EFC Organizational Announcement

As part of EFC’s continued commitment to strengthening our engagement in Government Relations during this critical period of energy transition and evolving international trade, we are pleased to announce two important leadership updates within our Business Sections and Government Affairs teams.

Appointment: Director of Government Affairs

EFC has created a new position, Director of Government Affairs, to provide focused leadership and advocacy on behalf of our members. We are pleased to announce that Cherith Sinasac has been appointed to this role.

Cherith has been with EFC since 2016, bringing deep expertise in standards and regulatory work in close collaboration with our business sections, and more recently, government relations. She has played an active role in developing EFC’s trade and tariff recommendations, EV policy recommendations, and support for electrification initiatives. Cherith’s extensive experience advocating for members on standards and regulatory issues is highly transferable to government relations and positions her well to lead EFC’s efforts in this area.

Cherith is known for being results-oriented, highly collaborative, and effective in building strong interpersonal relationships. Her strategic mindset will be a key asset as EFC navigates this important time for the industry.

Please join us in congratulating Cherith on her new role. As part of this transition, EFC will be seeking a new Director of Codes and Standards. Cherith will formally transition into the Director of Government Affairs role once the new Director of Codes and Standards is in place.

Promotion: Business Section Manager

We are also pleased to announce the promotion of Lavindi Richards-Harvey to Business Section Manager.

Lavindi joined EFC in 2024 as our Events Coordinator and has consistently demonstrated strong project management capabilities, a collaborative approach, and excellent communication skills. In her new role, Lavindi will be responsible for managing the business sections with a primary focus on regulatory work, including Lighting, Joint Transformers, EV Chargers, Motors and Generators, and Dry Type Transformers.

We are confident that Lavindi’s skills and experience will serve our members well in this expanded role. Please join us in congratulating Lavindi on her promotion.

We look forward to the continued contributions of both Cherith and Lavindi as they support EFC’s strategic priorities and member success.
