EFC Members Give Greatly to the Purse Project in Collaboration with the Women’s Network Ontario Region

We are pleased to announce that EFC and its member companies were able to generously donate 205 full purses, along with additional products and gift cards to the Purse Project. This is one of the largest donations as noted by the Purse Project headquarters in Burlington.

Once these purses are collected, the Purse Project also includes an inspirational card, which is a handwritten, handmade card of encouragement.

Women’s Network Ontario Region Chair, Lori Bagazzoli, LEDVANCE Ltd., quoted “when Sandra Tomassi, Vice Chair and Nathalie Lajoie, EFC team lead met in early fall to discuss possible industry programming and events, our minds went to philanthropy and giving back to the community was so important. The Purse Project resonated well, and we pursued the charity for our holiday reception giving. Our Women’s Network Ontario Region committee members supported the charity and have collaborated so well with member companies and their teams by donating purses, products, or gift cards. Member companies were excited and supported this charity and really came together with donating 205 full purses for women in need. This initiative far surpassed our goals, and we thank every single person who helped this worthwhile cause. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts.”

These purses will be delivered to women’s shelters and related charities within the Halton region over the next week.
