Jim Johnson is the President and CEO of The National Electrical Manufacturers Representative Association (NEMRA). NEMRA is a not-for-profit trade association whose charter is to promote the benefits of doing business with an independent sales representative in the electrical industry. Before joining NEMRA, Jim had been an active participant in and supporter of NEMRA for over 31 years both as an Independent Representative and as an Executive in leadership positions with a number of Manufacturers. Jim also served 6 years on the NMG Executive Committee, including the position of Chair. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Northern Illinois University, earned his CPMR from Indiana University and completed the NEMRA Executive Development program at Northwestern University. Jim belongs to a number of professional organizations, including the American Society of Association Executives and S-Corporation. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Small Business

David Gordon is President of Channel Marketing Group. He founded the consulting firm twenty years ago to support manufacturers, distributors and reps in the electrical industry gain customer insights, differentiate themselves through marketing and business development strategies and drive growth. He is also the author of the industry blog ElectricalTrends and writes for Canadian Electrical Wholesaler. He has worked with countless distributors and manufacturers, supports NEMRA and is on the Board of Directors of ETIM North America.
