New This Year – Performance Academy Attracts New and Intermediate Industry Golfers

On Wednesday, August 23rd, EFC hosted its first ever Performance Academy in collaboration with Deer Creek Golf Course. 23 new and novice golfers were able to join the Federation Cup Tournament in a new and exciting way!

During this performance academy, participants learned swing and driving techniques along with putting skills with two golf pros, followed by a 9-hole golf game.

After the completion of the Performance Academy, participants joined the 21st Annual Federation Cup Golf Tournament networking reception and golfer dinner.

EFC Golf Committee Performance Academy lead, Katherine Turfryer, O’Neil Electric Supply, stated

“I was so happy to be involved in the planning and execution of the 1st Annual EFC Performance Academy. The industry definitely needed something like this! It was a great opportunity for new and novice golfers to strengthen their golf skills at the training facility while still being a part of the EFC Federation Cup event. The participants were able to network with close to 400 industry professionals over the course of the day. It was such a great way to teach new professionals the game of golf matched with valuable networking. Looking forward to next year!”

It was such a worthwhile opportunity to see so many new industry faces come to enjoy an EFC event.
