2023 EFC Quebec Region Golf Tournament Recap

 

On August 31st, the Quebec region committee hosted EFC’s final golf tournament of the year. The comfortable weather welcomed over 150 golfers for a day of mingling, networking, and testing their skills on the greens at the Elm Ridge Country Club, Ile Bizard, QC, for EFC’s annual Quebec Golf Tournament, which raised a total of $2,716 for Habitat for Humanity, EFC’s charity of choice. Thank you to all members who participated in making this donation possible.

 

The day included fun-filled challenges such as “Beat the Pro’ sponsored by Service Wire, the “Random Club” challenge hosted and sponsored by the YPN Quebec region, Longest drive sponsored by EasyHeat and Closest to the pin sponsored by hubbell.

Also, during the course, golfers had the chance to enjoy meal stations such as taste of Italy pizzas sponsored by Stanpro, Beavertails sponsored by Hammond, hot dogs and snacks sponsored by Desdowd as well as fruits sponsored by Schneider. Thank you also to Atypique for your sponsorship of non-alcoholic beverages which were greatly appreciated. It was a wonderful day filled with sunshine, food and smiles!

 

The day’s activities concluded with a networking reception where we had the pleasure of announcing the annual Personality of the Year award. Congratulations to Denis Ricard, Agence Ricard who was honoured as the 2023 Personality of the Year recipient for his dedication, passion, and outstanding support for EFC and the industry throughout his career.
