The Energy was High as Crowds Flocked to MCEE Expo 2023

On April 19 and 20, 2023, at the Palais des Congress de Montreal, over 7000 buyers, decision-makers, contractors, electricians, apprentices, students, suppliers, and other industry professionals returned to the MCEE Expo after four years of absence. Thanks to EFC’s featured speaker Patrick Charest, Signify, for presenting at the afternoon seminar titled “Unleash the Extraordinary Potential of Light.”

Hundreds of exhibitors, including many EFC members, participated in last week’s MCEE tradeshow in Montreal. Member organizations were ready to showcase their new product solutions and interacted with the crowds through various initiatives such as the Installation Competition (Photos below show Ideal Industries contestants competing for the best time), and the “Fill the Grid” passport card contest.

Thanks to EFC’s featured speaker Patrick Charest, Signify, for presenting at the afternoon seminar titled “Unleash the Extraordinary Potential of Light.” This discussion covered intelligent lighting theories and applications, and Charest illustrated the role that lighting plays in smart buildings, smart homes, and smart cities.

Members exhibiting at the show also participated in EFC’s Tech Minutes on Instagram stories to share their product features and technologies. Visit EFC’s IG page. Thank you to RVE, CSC LED, Liteline, Stanpro, CMP Products, Leviton, Dawnray, Eaton Bussmann, and Intermatic for participating in this initiative.

Before the show’s opening, EFC members took away some awards at the MCEE VIP Product Showcase event on April 18, where ABB, Lutron, Signify, and RVE were honored as recipients. Congratulations to all the finalists and winners!
