2022 Happy New Year Message

On December 10, 2021, EFC marked the end of the year by recognizing employees’ work anniversaries, giving back to our community, and looking forward to coming out of the pandemic as a stronger and more robust organization to serve our membership.

EFC celebrated employees’ work anniversaries during the end-of-year holiday staff meeting in the Distillery District, Toronto. These significant milestones were commemorated to recognize the extraordinary achievements and years of service the EFC team accomplishes. John Jefkins, VP, Member Engagement and Corporate Partnerships, celebrates his 10-year anniversary with EFC. With HR being near and dear to his heart, John’s role has grown significantly over the years, recently adding Corporate Social Responsibility to his wide range of responsibilities.

Cherith Sinasac, Business Section Manager, also celebrated her 5th anniversary with EFC. Cherith started with EFC as a program coordinator on the marketing and communications team before going on to manage CACN and later progressing to her current role.

EFC staff dropping off donations at Haven on the Queensway

The EFC team also made a visit to Haven on the Queensway to drop off much-needed donations such as food, clothing, and other essential items. The non-profit organization provides support services to those affected by homelessness, poverty, and addictions. This was not only a worthy charitable initiative for EFC to support, but a great community-building exercise for our team as well.

As we come out of 2021 with new hope and an optimistic outlook, we look forward to a healthy and successful 2022 for all of our members.
